The low weight is the first thing you notice about the Benchmade 530 Pardue. 55 grams is not heavy for a knife large enough to obviously perform the most daily tasks. Everyone will be able to use this knife. It is just as easy to use for both left and right-handed persons. The blade can be opened with one hand using the thumb support and is secured by means of the axis-lock which is often applied by Benchmade. The blade is made of the popular steel type 154CM.
