The **Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter 15016-1** is a compact and light-weight hunting knife, which can also be used as an EDC knife. At first glance this knife might seem too small to gut deer and other game. However, when you hold it you notice that the ergonomics and usibility of the knife were carefully thought through. Because of the large 'belly' on the edge you can seperate skin from flesh like it is butter.

 The blade is made from CPM S30V-steel. This is a stainless type of powder steel. It is one of the few types of steel that was specifically designed to be used for knives. It retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. Benchmade used G10 for the handle. An incredibly strong composite material made from synthetic resin and glass fibres.

 The Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter comes with a kydex sheath. It is made as such that you carry it horizontally on your belt with the leather belt loop. As such you barely notice that you are carrying it with you, while it is always there when you need it.
