The **Böker Fellow 1674** is a classic backlock. Large, solid and stylish. The blade can be opened with two hands and is locked by a backlock. This falls into place with a careful ‘click’. The 440C steel blade is stainless and polished. 440C steel is an ancient type of steel many contemporary types of steel are based on. The bolters are made from nickel silver and the handle has Amboyna wood inlays.


## Amboyna Burl handle


The handle is made from *Amboyna Burl*. This is root wood from a tree from the *Pterocarpus* family. For the sustainability this wood has been stabilized to make sure it can withstand changes in moisture and temperature. This type of wood reminds us of the dashboard of a classic British car. Very stylish.


## Böker 1674 Limited Edition


These Böker 1674 models come from a recent discovery made by Böker. At the 150-year anniversary of Böker Mexico, which was founded in 1865 by Robert Böker, very old documents resurfaced. Up until that moment one assumed that the German branch of the Böker brand was founded in 1869 by Henrich Böker. The documents, however, revealed that the brand had already been registered in 1674 as a ‘private brand’. This meant that Böker was already 343 years old! To honour this discovery Böker has released the special 1674 collection. A number of classic and recent models, of which only 343 are made.
