Because of the milled pattern you have enough grip over the knife. You open it with the double thumb studs. Looking for a two-handed opener? Simply remove the thumb stud with the included torx key. I bought this as a present for my son as a work knife. He works on farms and often needs a good knife to cut things whilst working. He said he thought it looked like a good quality knife. as yet I cannot say how well it will work or last, but it looks very good and is a good weight.
