The Böker Smatchet Damascus Anniversary Edition 129578DAM is an extremely remarkable version of a legendary knife design. During the Second World War William E. Fairbairn designed the first Smatchet to have a combat knife in hand that could also be used for chopping tasks. A type of ultimate combination between a combat dagger and a machete. At the end of the eighties the design was adjusted to the current model by Col. Rex Applegate.
