This **Böker steak knife 03AP001** has a blade made from 4116-steel and a decent, maintenance-free handle made from POM-plastic. The partially serrated blade also stands out. It is the perfect table knife you don't necessarily only need to use to cut meat.

 ## Striking serrated pattern

 The pattern of the edge has a remarkable transition. The tip has a clearly visible serration, which becomes smaller at the belly of the knife. The end of the edge, at the side of the crop, is, however, a full 'plain edge'. As such you combine the wear resistance of a serrated structure with the absolute sharpness of a straight edge.

 ## POM handle

 The handle of this Böker knife is made from the very hard plastic called polyoxymethylene or, in short, POM This is a type of plastic which is used by many knife makers from Solingen as a material for knife handles. The advantage of POM is that it is maintenance free, scratch resistant and colour stable. As a result these steak knives are dishwasher-proof, we do, however, don't recommend putting them in there because it could affect the colour and quality of the steel.
