I bought this knife as a gift for my girlfriend who is an equine ambulatory veterinary surgeon. She has a full complement of tools and equipment, but no knife. She doesn't like to have a knife in the vehicle other than the specialist hoof knives, but often has a genuine need for a good, strong, sharp blade. The blade on this is outstanding and the quality and strength of the hoof pick is impressive. the knife itself is well made and easy to grip in the wet, the cold and muddy conditions. The nylon holster/sheath is impressively well constructed and strong with a firm press stud closure that won't come undone by accident. I can't rate this particular knife highly enough and for its intended purpose it is nigh on perfect!
