The **Case Large Stockman 75833** is a real classic in the pocket knife world. This pattern is almost as old as the entire category of Traditionals. This Case Stockman is a very pure incarnation of this classic model. It is enhanced with three blades: a clippoint blade as a main blade, a 5.7 cm sheepsfoot blade and, of course, the almost indispensable Spey blade. This is a spearpoint with a sort of blunt tip.

Originally this shape was used to gut game. When opened the three blades are kept in place by a slipjoint. Because Case uses two lock-springs to keep three blades in place, it is unavoidable that the blades are close together and may even touch each other when the knife is closed. This is a part of the design of the blade and also gives it its authentic charm.

## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. A distinguishing feature of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp, very quickly.

## Hunter Green Bone Deep Canyon handle

The handle of this Case knife is made of natural bone with a green and blue colour. The handle features grooves to provide extra grip. This groove is coloured blue which gives the handle a beautiful colour gradient. The bronze pins are the finishing touch to the handle. The blade is at a slight angle to the handle, making cutting tasks easier to perform.

Die Large Stockman Modelle sind für sich berührende Klingen bekannt. Mein Modell ist so fatal eingestellt, dass sich die Hauptklinge nicht automatisch ins Heft legt. Ich muss also beim schliessen des Messers die Klinge nachdrücken um an der Sheepfoot-klinge vorbeizukommen. Ansonsten bleibt das Messer leider etwas geöffnet.
