The **Casström Lapland Leather Wax** is specially developed to protect leather items such as sheaths, knife covers and holsters to maintain their shape and strength. This wax is unique in that it does not increase the flexibility of the leather, which is often the case with other leather oils and greases and can lead to loss of shape.

Containing natural ingredients such as beeswax and carnauba wax. The wax provides a water- and dirt-resistant coating. For optimal results, apply the wax with a cloth, let it soak for 30 minutes and then rub it on with a clean cloth. After 24 hours, you can polish the leather again for extra protection. Use this treatment at least a few times a year.

Note: light leather may darken slightly and matt leather will take on a sheen. Keep the jar tightly sealed to prevent the wax drying out.

Op zich ben ik zeker tevreden over de kwaliteit van het product.
Het is een goede wax die het leer goed voed en beschermt maar het niet (merkbaar) zachter maakt.
Hierdoor is het ideaal om bijvoorbeeld een pocket sheath te onderhouden.
Het enige nadeel dat ik, tijdens gebruik, kon vaststellen is dat het nogal sterk ruikt en de geur wel een paar weken aan het leer blijft hangen.

Het belangrijkste nadeel is echter de prijs. Als je de prijs voor 20g van deze wax vergelijkt met de prijs van 250g Skerper beeswax dan moet je toch echt op zoek zijn naar een non-softening wax om dit product te kopen. Voor die toepassing is dit echt de beste keuze maar voor gebruik waarbij elk soort wax goed is zijn er veel goedkopere alternatieven.
