De Broken Skull is een fraai mes met duidelijke pluspunten. Zo heeft dit mes een behoorlijk formaat, zodat ook wat zwaardere taken ermee uitvoeren geen enkel probleem is. Daarbij is dit mes heel slank en gering in gewicht. Hierdoor draagt hij heel prettig in de broekzak, dwz als je de broekclip met een platte schroevendraaier soepeler hebt gemaakt, want standaard staat dat ding veel te strak. De grote ergernis die ik met dit mes heb is het tri ad lock. Ondanks het feit dat ik dit mes al een tijdje heb lukt het mij nog steeds niet om met 1 hand het mes te ontgrendelen. Echt, ik zet zoveel kracht dat de indruk in mijn duim staat en mijn nagel gescheurd is. Om te ontgrendelen moet ik nog steeds de deurstijl gebruiken. En dat terwijl ik het mes al een keer omgeruild heb. Nu had ik dit bij een ander Cold steel mes ook kunnen treffen, dus voor mij geen mes meer met deze vergrendeling.
