The Cold Steel Code 4 series is developed for those who are looking for a reliable knife to carry with them every day. It is very thin, very light and fully functional.  
  

The Code 4 is available in different blade shapes. This Clip Point blade is 3,5 mm thick en can be opened with one hand thanks to the thumb studs. The blade opens with a firm click, letting you know it is securely locked by Cold Steels Tri-Ad Lock. This prevents the blade folding back unwanted when in use.  
  

The hard-anodised “Gun Metal Grey” aluminium grips provide excellent grip together with good looks!
  
  

The AUS8A is strong and sturdy and easy to re-sharpen!

De Cold Steel Code 4 Clip Point is een goed alledaags werk mes. Hij is smal / dun genoeg om hem makkelijk en redelijk onopvallend in je broek te dragen. De triad lock is de beste en meest betrouwbare in zijn klasse, vandaar het gebruik als werk mes. Wegens de "lock back" is het wat minder leuk en vloeiend spelen dan bij bijvoorbeeld een axis, linere of frame lock. Echter dit zal de pret niet drukken, het is een geweldig "out of the box" super scherp mes wat makkelijk te slijpen en onderhouden is. Bij goed en verantwoord gebruik zal hij heel je leven mee gaan. Dus zoek je een goede EDC werkmes, zoek niet verder, je hebt ze ( Clip point, Tanto, Drop Point) gevonden!!

Mooi mes, alleen handvat is veel te glad. Heel jammer. Ben al lang op zoek naar een goed mes. Heb meerdere dingen van cold steel en die zijn prima. Gemiste kans naar mijn idee. Misschien als je grotere handen hebt dat het mes beter te hanteren is.

Het Code 4 Clip Point mes van Cold Steel  is zeer mooi , erg sterk en super scherp. Ik heb 'm meer voor de sier, maar ik denk dat hij een beetje groot is om in/aan de broekzak bij je te dragen . Een goede en snelle levering van KNIVES AND TOOLS.

Goede kwaliteit zakmes, goede lock mechanisme. Zeer scherp geslepen, heft ligt goed in de hand. Enig nadeel voor sommigen kan het materiaal zijn van het heft, weinig grip in natte omstandigheden.
Mijn conclusie, zoek je een sterk en scherp mes van goede kwaliteit, is dit de goede keus :)

Een zeer stevig robuust mes, maar ook slank en niet super zwaar, prima combinatie dus. De lock van cold steel is zeer stevig en totaal geen speling, de afwerking is zeer goed en het lemmet kwam scheermes scherp uit de doos, normaal gesproken slijp ik nieuwe messen gelijk om ze nog scherper te krijgen maar bij dit mes was dat niet nodig. Hij opent soepel en dit zal na gebruik alleen maar soepeler worden, het ontgrendelen gaat wel ietsje zwaarder maar dit geeft de indruk dat het stevig en veilig is. De aluminium handgrepen voelen comfortabel aan maar bieden in natte omstandigheden misschien net iets te weinig grip. 
Het enigste minpunt is de clip, deze is naar mijn mening iets te strak en clipt lastig aan je broek vast, gelukkig is een clip buigbaar en je kan de clip ietsjes verbuigen totdat hij goed is.
Al met al een slank, robuust en groot mes van hoge kwaliteit.
