The **Cold Steel 36MB Drop Forged Bowie** is a remarkable fixed knife. What's remarkable about it is that it was forged from one piece of 52100 steel, Including the thicker handle. The result is a solid, balanced knife that can handle heavy use. The blade has a flat grind. As such it is easy to use despite its thickness.

The 52100 steel is a type of steel that was previously only used to produce ball bearings. 52100-steel, however, also has some features that has turned it into a good type of knife steel. With a high carbon content 52100 steel is a type of steel that can be sharpened really sharp. This does also mean that this type of steel is more susceptible to rust. That is why the occasional drop of oil will keep it in great shape.

The Cold Steel 36MB Drop Forged Bowie comes with a Secure-Ex belt sheath.
