The Cold Steel Medium Espada #62NGM is based on the Spanish sword (Espada) that was used by the Spanish army. The Espade is known for its firm upswept clip point and the strong curved edge of the handle. The beautiful design gives the knife a strong look. Besides this, the knife has an extremely strong grip, becuase the handle has a pistol grip form. The handle itself is made of a structured G-10.  
  

The blade of the Medium Éspada is build from Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel with a Bead Blast Finish. Like most Cold Steel knives the Espada is equiped with the Tri-Ad lock.

Erstklassiges Messer! Wie immer bei Cold Steel eine sehr scharfe Klinge. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand, durch die Riffelung der Griffschalen rutscht das Messer auch beim "Einhand-Öffnen" nicht hin und her. Insgesamt eine gelungene "Modernisierung" des spanischen Bandolero Messers.

Stevige gespierde meneren die van alles en nog wat slopen met Cold Steel messen, bijlen, wandelstokken, zwaarden etc. en daarna veelbetekenend in de camera kijken met het artikel dat je dient te kopen. Ach ik vind het wel leuk. De messen van Cold Steel zijn 'grof', maar prima. De Tri-Ad backlock vergrendeling is het beste dat ik ken. De messen van CS kunnen tegen een stootje. Deze G 10 Espada is de werkuitvoering van een luxe (dure) varianten is ondanks de naam 'medium' de kleinste in een serie van drie modellen. 
Het is een stevig mes dat goed in de hand ligt door de 'pistoolgreep'. Hoewel er verder geen liners inzitten, zitten er wel wat metalen verstevigingsplaatjes rond de Tri-Ad delen. Erg breed, maar prima mes. Bezorging e.d. waren weer prima.
