Fenix HL35

The Fenix HL35 is a great headlamp working on only two AA batteries. The maximum light output of 450 lumens can be reached with two 14500 batteries. On alkaline or NiMH it only goes up to 260 lumens. Next to a powerful white LED, the HL35 has a red LED. Red light is very useful to read maps in the dark. In addition to constant output modes the HL35 also has white and red flashing modes. You can switch between output modes via the double side switch. There’s one switch for the red and flashing modes, and one switch for white light. It doesn't get much simpler for a headlamp with this many light modes.
