This **Flytanium Pilar Large Scale & Backspacer** is a very good aftermarket accessory for the CRKT Squid. It is a well-fitting scale and backspacer from the experts at Flytanium.

 These scales are made from brass. It has been enhanced with a stonewashed finish. This means that there are already traces of use to make sure new scratches won't stand out. A used look, straight from the box. Take into account that brass will form a patina in time which makes each set unique.

 Assembling new scales or other accessories isn't without risk. Always use fitting screwdrivers and never force anything to prevent damage to screws or scales. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.

 Also check the warranty conditions of the manufacturer before you start: for some brands the warranty expires when you start tinkering with the knife yourself. You add the scales at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or accessory.
