Titanium thumb stud for Benchmade pocket knives

This **Flytanium Thumb Stud Kit for Benchmade pocket knives** is a cool addition to your Benchmade pocket knife. Perhaps because you have lost your original thumb stud, perhaps because you need a little bit of colour. Tips when removing the original thumb stud: hang the blade in a cup of hot water up to the thumb stud. As such it is easier to remove. To remove it you use a Torx-T6 screwdriver.



This thumb stud will fit on the following models: Bugout, Mini Bugout, Bailout, 94-collection, Griptilian, Mini Griptilian, Mini Crooked River and Mini Freek.



It will also fit on the following models. Do, however, keep in mind that it will be a little shorter: North Fork Folder, Vallation, Mini Vallation, Triage, Adamas, Contego, Mini Barrage, Boost and Emissary.



It will NOT fit on the Benchmade Valet and Nakamura.


## Tips when installing


Adding new accessories isn't without risk! Always use fitting screwdrivers and never force anything to prevent damage to screws or scales. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.



Also check the warranty conditions of the manufacturer: for some brands the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. You add the scales at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or accessory.
