The **Gerber Gator Golok** is a relatively heavy machete. Enhanced with a thick blade and a sharp edge. As such the machete is extremely good at removing vegetation. Even trees with 10 cm trunks won’t be a problem. A heavy-duty machete ready for the more demanding tasks!


The 28.5 cm long blade on the Gerber Gator Golok is made from 65Mn steel. A *high carbon steel* that is really tough and abrasion-resistant. The blade is 6 mm wide which means that it is relatively thick. As such you will have serious chopping power. Perfect for removing dense vegetation and chopping wood.


## Gerber Gator Grip


The blade on the Gerber Gator Golok seamlessly merges with the handle that has been enhanced with the patented Gator Grip. A *full tang* construction. This light-weight handle is made from glass-reinforced nylon enhanced with a rubber surface with the look and feel of an alligator skin to ensure a firm grip with optimal control. Regardless of the weather: this machete will never slip from your hands. A little additional security feature comes in the shape of a lanyard for on your wrist. Adjustable, so you can wrap it tightly around your hand.


The Gator Golok comes with a military grade nylon sheath you can use to store your machete after use. This sheath has been enhanced with double D-ring fasteners and multiple belt loops.

excellente lame, au dela de mes attentes, le reproche que je pourrais faire est sur la poingné moins ergnonomique qu'attendu. La machette est assez lourde donc amene un certaine aisance sur des taches sporadique, mais perd de son interet sur des taches repetitives. Je conseille cette lame de tres bonne qualité pour des courts traveaux meme lours, mais redirigerais vers d'autre outils qui ont une meilleures ergonomie pour des taches sur la durée
