The blade on the Gerber Gator Machete Pro stands out. This 26 cm long blade is made from stainless carbon steel and has a type of hook with a sharpened side you can use to remove plants and weeds or bark from trees. The other, straight side, can be used to cut through thicker branches.


## Gerber Gator Grip


The handle on the Gerber Gator Machete Pro has been enhanced with the patented Gator Grip. Made from glass reinforced nylon with a soft, rubber surface and the look and feel of an alligator skin to ensure a firm grip with optimal control regardless of the weather: this machete will never slip from your hands. Still a bit hesitant? You could also use the nylon lanyard attached to the handle if you are looking for additional security.


The Gator Machete Pro comes with a military-grade nylon sheath you can use to store your machete when you are done using it. In addition, this sheath has additional room for the included sharpening stone. This compact stone is great when you want to sharpen your blade on the road.
