The **Gränsfors Bruk Oil 4037 maintenance oil** is an environmentally-friendly non-toxic oil, produced in Sweden. The oil is 100% made from unsaturated fatty acids from linseed oil. As it dries, the oil forms a protective layer that improves the durability of your axe handle. We recommend treating the axe handle with this oil at least once a years.

Gränsfors Bruk oil is also designed to effectively protect the axe handle against corrosion. A light coating might be visible as the oil dries, this is simply excess oil that you can wipe away with a dry piece of cloth. At normal room temperature and with good ventilation, the oil will dry within 24 hours.

**Caution:** spontaneous combustion risk! Cloths or other porous materials soaked in this linseed oil have a risk of self-ignition. Before disposal, ensure they are burnt, air-dried in a safe open space, or kept immersed in water.
