The **KA-BAR 1217 plain 1217S leather sheath** is a right-handed leather sheath for the KA-BAR 1217. This legendary knife already comes with a sheath, but it doesn't hurt to own a spare. After all, with such a solid and cool knife you know that it will outlive its sheath. This, however, does say more about the knife than the sheath! 

 By far the most popular KA-BAR is the 1217 this sheath is designed for. KA-BAR, however, also produces different knives that, in terms of size, are similar, and therefore also fit inside this sheath. Think of the 1317, 1211, 1213, 1214, 1218 and the 1281. As long as it has a blade of up to 7" (17.5-18.0 cm.)
