The Lansky tactical sharpening steel is specifically designed for outdoor enthusiasts and buchcrafters. The LCD02 has an aluminum body. The top has a cap that can be screwed on so the diamond sharpening steel can be pushed out. The sharpener has a fine diamond layer on the outside and it can give your knife a touch-up when needed.
