The **Medford Praetorian Genesis G** is the medium-sized version of the most famous pocket knife produced by Medford Knives. Large, robust and decent: the Praetorian is it all. 100% made in the United States, from American materials, in a company run by a veteran.

The CPM S35VN steel blade is enhanced with a hollow grind that was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened a solid framelock keeps the blade in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result it symmetrically leans against the handle. This adds strength.

CPM S35VN is a premium, stainless type of steel. For years this has been one of the most popular types of steel on the market. It is, for stainless steel, rather tough and relatively easy to sharpen.

Medford enhanced this version with a titanium lock side with a G10 show side. The lock side has a bronze anodised finish. The blade has a tumbled finish.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. Knives that are available on our website are in stock and can immediately be shipped. Be there in time: it might take a while for new stock to arrive!
