The **Nitecore MH12SE** is an incredibly practical multi-tasker. You can recharge it via the USB-C port and it can be used with a number of different batteries. It works best with a 21700 battery, but is also compatible with one 18650 battery or two CR123 or RCR123 batteries. This flashlight has eight light modes. You can also choose between two light modes: Daily Mode and Tactical Mode. The first gives you access to all eight modes. For the Tactical Setting you turn the light on in the turbo mode, to make sure you immediately have a lot of light to see your surroundings or blind your attacker. Afterwards you can switch to lower modes or the strobe. This strobe flashes irregularly, to make sure it is even more disorienting. 

The MH12SE is the updated version of the MH12S. The main difference is in the reach of the beam: the MH12S had a reach of 294 meters, komt and the MH12SE can reach up to 405 meters.

## How to use the Nitecore MH12SE

The MH12SE has a tail switch and a side switch. You can turn the light on or off by pressing the tail switch. By pressing the side switch you can switch between the 5 'standard' modes. The light remembers the mode last used. You reach the strobe, beacon and sos modes by pressing the side switch when the light is on. If you press both buttons you will switch from the Daily Mode to the Tactical mode and vice versa.

  * High: 1050 lumens, burn time of approx. 3:15 hours
  * Medium: 260 lumens, burn time of approx. 8:45 hours
  * Low: 45 lumens, burn time of approx. 47 hours
  * Ultra-low: 1 lumen, burn time of approx. 1500 hours
  * Strobe, SOS and beacon: 1800 lumens
