The Nitecore TM38 is an extremely powerful LED flashlight. The 1800 lumens produced by the Cree XHP35 Hi D4 LED seem quite standard. Something we see more often. But the range of 1400 metres according to the ANSI standard that Nitecore achieves is very impressive. Few flashlights can manage to shine so far, especially from such a relatively compact light.
