Full description
The Opinel Pocket knife with wooden handle in a cheerful color. Originally created by Joseph Opinel in 1890 for use by farmers. The Opinel Pocket knife is a famous, yet very cheap pocket knife for everyday use. The blade of stainless steel is provided with the simple but effective Virobloc-locking. This is a ring, which can be pivoted around the hinge point. This causes blocking of the blade.

I bought this for my seven year old daughter to learn to whittle and carve with. She absolutely loves it. The fact it locks makes it safer, and blue means that when she loses it camping (which she will !) we will be able to find it.
