The **Real Steel Akuma** is a cool pocket knife, designed by Ivan Braginets. It is great how he was able to incorporate three openings mechanisms in one knife: a thumb stud, thumb hole and a flipper. As such you can decide which you prefer. Once opened a solid liner lock ensures that the blade stays open.



The handle is made from G10 with a fine pattern. As such you have a lot of grip. The blade is made from K110. You don't hear that often. And yet it is an old acquaintance: similar to D2 steel, but made in Austria by Böhler. Tough, retains its sharpness and is easy to sharpen. Do, however, be careful for rust: K110 is not as corrosion resistant as some stainless types of steel.

Ik besloot het mes te kopen toen deze in de aanbieding was, aangezien ik niet direct weg was vd looks maar toch wel het apparte design kon waarderen. Bij binnenkomst ik blij verrast met de uitstekende kwaliteit van de afwerking, afstelling en de scherpte. Mes schiet open en valt dicht als een guillotine. Het is een echte slicer ondanks het grote duimgat. Mooie toevoeging aan de collectie e 5 sterren vanwege de prijs/kwaliteit.
