The **Reate K1** is a sleek and elegant top-quality pocket knife. The handle is milled from titanium and enhanced with carbon fibre inlays. The precision with which the inlays merge with the handle is rarely matched. To Reate Knives precision is key!


The blade is made from RWL34-steel. A stainless powdered type of steel made by the steel experts of Damask steel. The very fine hollow grind has a proper *stonewashed finish*. The smooth parts have a satin finish. A luxurious two-tone finish. The curve of the spine and the subtle jimping on top are characteristics of pure quality. You open the blade with the flipper. The ceramic detent (which normally keeps the blade inside the handle) is perfectly adjusted. Strong enough to properly use the flipper, soft enough to not strain your finger. The ceramic ball bearings around the pivot ensure that it runs smoothly. When opened the blade is locked by a solid frame lock. As you might expect from Reate the lockbar has been enhanced with a steel insert that guarantees a perfect lockup for years.


At first sight the K1 might be a little less extravagant than the other knives from the Reate range. However, this doesn’t mean that the K1 hasn’t been enhanced with Reate’s unparalleled eye for detail. For instance, the pocket clip might look a little austere. However, when you look closely you will notice how well-thought-out it actually is. It perfectly falls into the cut-out in the titanium handle and has been enhanced with a ceramic ball that will spare your pocket. The sleek finish of the lanyard hole (the hole you can use to attach your paracord lanyard to) is also impeccable.


The Reate K1 comes with a luxurious storage pouch with an extra bag with two steel rings and additional screws. As such you will already own the spare parts necessary for this knife. Very consumer-friendly!
