The **Reate K1** is a sleek, stylish pocket knife of the highest class. The handle is milled from titanium and has carbon fibre inlays. The precision of the inlays connecting to the handle is truly exemplary. This is the common thread that runs through all Reate Knives: precision.




The blade is made from RWL34 steel, a stainless powder steel made by the steel experts at Damasteel. The beautiful hollow grind has a beautifulstonewashed finish, while the flat parts have a satin finish. This creates an elegant two-tone effect. The rounding of the back and the subtle jimping are hallmarks of pure quality. You open the blade with the flipper. The ceramic detent (which typically holds the blade in the handle) is perfectly adjusted. Sturdy enough to flip easily, but soft enough to feel pleasant against your finger. The ceramic ball bearings around the pivot allow the knife to open super smoothly. When opened, the blade is locked in place by a solid frame lock. As we've come to expect from Reate, the lockbar has a steel insert. This prevents the lock from going too far, so it will stay in great condition for years to come.




At first glance, the K1 seems a bit less extravagant than other knives in the Reate range. But this doesn't mean that the K1 has received any less of Reate's unparalleled attention to detail. For instance, the pocket clip looks quite modest at first. But when you look closely you can see how cleverly it has been designed. It falls neatly into a recess in the titanium handle and is fitted with a ceramic ball. This helps to protect your pocket. The lanyard hole also has a very sleek finish. 




The Reate K1 comes in a luxurious storage case. This includes an additional pouch with two steel rings and some extra screws. So if you ever damage one of the screws, you already own a couple of spares. Very user-friendly!
