The Signature Series by Robert Welch was developed in 2005. Intensive consultations with professional cooks led to a design with ergonomically optimal design in which the balance is optimized per individual knife. Any type of knife has been completely redesigned. So all handles are tuned to the knife to which it is attached. The handles are made from durable melamine that is cast around the full tang blade. The steel in the handle features holes to make the melamine run through the steel. This makes the handle and blade blend together as one. The handle does not let go. Not even a bit.
