The aluminium handle is enhanced with a beautiful rubber inlay for enough grip. Even in wet circumstances rubber will maintain its grip. You open the SCH705 with the thumb stud after which a liner lock locks the blade. Schrade used ball bearings. In between the blade moves in the handle.
