The SOG NW Ranger 2.0 is a very functional fixed blade that can be used for many different purposes. It is built of solid materials that have proven themselves in many other knives. It is a relatively light knife with a slender handle. The kraton handle offers plenty of grip because it has a fairly soft touch. There are coarse ridge on top of the AUS8-steel blade, of which your fingers will not easily slip away! Also the guard has ridges.
