Full description
There will not be a lot of knives that have a history of approximately three decennia from first idea to production. Sal Glesser wanted to make a compact knife with marline pin. And obviously the design had to be very strong in order to easily withstand the forces such a tool has to endure. The son of Sal, Eric, has transformed the first sketches into a beautiful tool that will be of good service to many watersportsmen and seamen. Eric could use the latest position in terms of technology. The Ball Bearing Lock blocks the marline pin in an unparalleled manner. A ceramic ball makes it impossible for the knife to undesirably close. The fact that the Tusk can also be used as a shackle spanner (two actually: a large one between pin and body and a small one in the pin) makes the Tusk an ultimate tool for the seaman.
