**The James Brand Elko** is a keychain pocket knife with a sleek design. The Elko clearly has the minimalist design we have seen on many The James Brand knives. The handle is made from sleek, styled micarta. A strong composite material made from canvas and synthetic resin. The great thing about micarta is that it will discolour a little as you use it. Grease from your hands will ensure that it will look darker. As such each knife will be unique! The blade has an interesting droppoint-like shape with an open nail-nick.

 You open it with two hands and when opened the slipjoint will keep the blade in place. And yet it won't completely lock. As such you can legally carry it around almost anywhere. At the end of the handle you will find a protrusion which functions as a backspacer, flathead screwdriver and lanyard eye.

 The Elko might not be the pocket knife you carry out everyday tasks with. It is the one knife you carry with you no matter where you go.
