Six silicon carbide sharpening stones for the TSPROF sharpening system. Including storage bag.

The **TSPROF Boride CS-HD six-piece sharpening stone set** contains six silicon carbide sharpening stones and a protective cover. Silicon carbide is a rock-solid sharpening material that can easily sharpen knives with a hardness up to 63 HRC. Silicon carbide has, compared to aluminium oxide, sharper and thinner particles. This results in less wide scratches and a nice silky shine on the edge of your knife.

 The stones are made in the United States by Boride. A world-famous manufacturer of abrasives. The stones are mounted on an aluminium sheet to make sure you can easily attach them on the TSPROF sharpening system. **This sharpening stone set contains:** 
 * 1 x 150 grit extra coarse Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 * 1 x 220 grit coarse Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 * 1 x 320 grit medium Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 * 1 x 600 grit fine Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 * 1 x 800 grit extra-fine Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 * 1 x 1200 grit ultra-fine Boride CS-HD sharpening stone.
 
 Boride determines the grain sizes of the sharpening stones based on the FEPA (Federation of European Producers of Abrasives) standard. The 1200 grit sharpening stone for instance, corresponds with a 4000 grit Japanese sharpening stone. As such the stones sharpen finer than you might expect. Most sharpening stones use the JIS standard (Japanese Industrial Standard). Simply because most sharpening stones are produced in Japan. To give you a better idea of the grain sizes we will give you a comparison of FEPA with JIS:
