This **Wüsthof Gourmet kitchen knife 16 cm** is perfect when cutting meat, vegetables and fruit. In comparison to a chef's knife this kitchen knife is enhanced with a narrower and less high blade. As such the knife is a little more compact and flexibe as you use it.

## Wüsthof Gourmet handle


The polypropylene handle is attached to the blade with rivets. The ergonomic shape feels comfortable in hand to make sure you can continue working without wearing out your hands. The knives are enhanced with the NSF mark and can therefore be used in the professional kitchen.


## Wüsthof Gourmet blade


The blade is cut from a single piece of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium steel with a laser. The production method is cheaper than forging, but still leaves you with very good kitchen knives when using the right type of steel. Afterwards the steel is hardened up to 56 Rockwell. The result is that the blade retains its sharpness longer in comparison to other brands in the same price range. But that is not all! The edge is also easy to sharpen. Even though these kitchen knives are dishwasher proof we advise you to clean them by hand.
