Wusthof’s Xline series derives its name from the X shape on the bolster, which is where the handle meets the blade. Thanks to innovative forging technology, this series boasts dynamic lines and superb ergonomic comfort.   
  


The blades in the Xline series have been treated with a special ceramic coating, which provides excellent protection against corrosion and prevents food particles from sticking to the blades. This coating also protects against scratches and general wear.   

Xline knives stay extremely sharp for a long time thanks to PEtec (Precision Edge Technology), Wüsthof’s special sharpening process.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
