The **Benchmade Taggedout 15535OR-01** is a lightweight hunting pocket knife, produced in the United States. The Taggedout was designed for hunters who travel long distances and pay attention to every gram. As such the knife is lightweight for its size. The Taggedout weighs 70 grams and has a blade length of 9 cm. This combination of weight and blade length can only be called rare. The blade has an orange coating so the knife stands out if you ever drop it in the grass. Deer cannot see this colour, but hunters can. 

## MagnaCut blade

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels in 2021 and 2022. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is!

## Carbon fibre handle

The handle is made from carbon fibre. A fancy and lightweight material that is also used in the sports car industry. Normally, the Axis lock is equipped with a steel catch. To save weight, Benchmade has enhanced the Taggedout with a titanium version. Just a little lighter.

The Benchmade Taggedout is enhanced with a slightly shorter deep-carry pocket clip than on most models. For this feature weight also comes first. Less steel means less weight. The pocket clip is adjustable, making the knife suited for left and right-handed use. The pocket clip in combination with Benchmade's Axislock makes the Taggedout perfect for both right- and left-handed users.

Valt een beetje tegen. Ja, hij is ligt. Ja, hij opent erg goed, en is ook nog eens symmetrisch. Maar sluiten lukt niet met één hand. Ook voelt het carbon niet zo fijn. En hij is net wat aan de grote kant.

De constructie is echt prima, niets op aan te merken. Hij oogt natuurlijk ook uniek, als geen ander mesje. Maar uiteindelijk is het gewoon niet ‘mijn’ mesje.

Sehr schönes, großes Messer, sehr empfehlenswert. Klasse Verarbeitung, sehr scharf out of the box.

Although it is a very expensive knife, the feel of this knife when you use it, is exceptional. Because the blade is so thin, it cuts through anything and the magnacut steel outperform any other steel, maybe only cru-wear can stand against it. If they lowered the price to 300, it would be the perfect knife.
