The **Böker Magnum M-Spec Survival Knife 02SC005** is a large survival knife that closely resembles the one that was used by Rambo in the 1982 Rambo film.




The handle is made from FRN enhanced with a rubber coating for enough grip. Even in humid circumstances. The M-Spec is not like the Rambo knife enhanced with a hollow handle. As such the handle is a little more solid and is nice in terms of weight.




Like a bayonet, the M-Spec has a cut-out in the guard. You, however, don't use it to mount a barrel to a gun, but to attach a knife to a stick. With paracord, for instance. As such you can turn your knife into a spear. Great during survival situations.




The bowie style blade is made from decent 7Cr17MoV steel. The blade is enhanced with a black coating and serrations on the spine. These serrations function as a saw and can be used to cut through branches. For your spear, for instance. As such you make sure the edge of your knife won't be damaged. Which needs to stay razor-sharp.


The M-Spec is enhanced with a robust plastic sheath. This sheath offers various options to attach the knife to your gear. Böker also enhanced the edge with a compass and fire starter.

Een betaalbare survival knife, met alles erop en eraan. Ik zou het mes aanraden aan iedereen met een klein budget die toch een goed survival knife willen hebben. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.

Je trouve ce couteau de bonne fabrication. La poignée est agréable à tenir et la lame est de bonne qualité. Certes, ce n'est pas le meilleur des aciers, mais il est facile à aiguiser. Vu le prix d'achat, il ne fallait pas s'attendre à une lame de qualité premium. C'est un couteau parfait pour les randonnées ou la chasse. Je recommande, le rapport qualité-prix est au rendez-vous.
