The **Civivi Lumi C20024** is a practical EDC pocket knife, designed by Justin Lundquist. Compact, lightweight and with a minimalist design. At first glance you don't even see the opening mechanism. Until you take a closer look and see a subtle protrusion with grip serrations. A front flipper. But a very discrete one. As such you can open it quickly. A liner-lock locks the blade when opened.

## G10 handle

The handle is comprised of steel liners with G10 scales. G10 is a strong, lightweight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The light texture feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip.

## 14C28N steel blade

Sandvik 14C28N. Quite a mouthful, isn't it? All you need to know, however, is that it's stainless and easy to sharpen. 14C28N is also pretty tough and retains its sharpness well. A great type of steel for a knife in this price range.

Franchement, c'est une de mes rares déceptions en CIVIVI. Si la finition est toujours nickel, si j'aimais beaucoup la symétrie globale du couteau, ainsi que sa sobriété, j'avoue qu'il est vraiment difficile à ouvrir, en tout cas pour moi - la faute à la combinaison du mécanisme typé "front flipper" et de la petite taille du couteau. 

Bref, très bien niveau look, une taille intéressante en EDC "ville", mais une ouverture trop laborieuse. Alors entendons-nous bien : il s'ouvre sans problèmes au final, mais ce n'est pas pratique / pas immédiat, il faut parfois s'y reprendre à plusieurs fois, en sortie de poche et en ouverture dans la foulée pour ouvrir un carton ou couper une corde, çà rate une fois sur deux (contrairement à n'importe quel modèle non-front flipper), etc. 

Ce ne sera peut-être pas le cas pour tout le monde ... mais çà l'est clairement pour moi. Encore une fois, après de nombreux achats CIVIVI / WE KNIVE / SENCUT, c'est bien une de mes premières déceptions.

Excellent petit couteau au dessin original et en même temps discret. Le 'front flipper' est difficile à maitriser au début mais avec un peu de pratique cela devient facile.

Un coltello semplice, discreto, dalle belle geometrie, ottimo per quando sono in ufficio o ad una serata elegante. Il la meccanica è precisa e fluida. La lama ha una affilatura discreta che ho dovuto ravvivare a mano, ma nulla di grave.
