The **Cold Steel Code 4 Serie** was specifically made for those who are looking for a practical and reliable pocket knife for daily tasks. The knife is thin, light-weight and incredibly functional. A knife with a practical size, but compact enough to always carry with you.




The Code 4 comes in three different blade shapes. This Spear Point version has a 3.3 mm thick blade which you can open with one hand with the help of the thumb studs. The blade falls in the solid Tri-Ad Lock which ensures that the knife is safely blocked.




Anyone who appreciates a simple, but well thought-out knife will definitely be charmed by the Code 4 Tanto Point. The hard anodized 'Gun Metal Grey' aluminium scales make the knife look very cool and provide you with enough grip. The blade is made from CPM S35VN-steel. This is a premium type of steel that is developed by the largest knife makers in the United States.



The great thing about the Cold Steel Code 4 is that it is great for both left and right-handed use. You also receive a second pocket clip for left-handed use.

Für unter 130.-€ , eine sehr gute Wahl. Es lässt sich mit etwas Übung schnell " aufschnippen " und auch einhändig schließen. Mit einer halben Flasche Wodka intus, nicht zu empfehlen, zu üben, man kann sich tatsächlich richtig verletzen.
Klinge sitzt zentriert und hat kein Spiel, obwohl es " butterweich " schließt. Diese spezielle Verriegelung ist für mich, die Beste, sattes Einschnappen und eine wohldosierte Entsperrung, eher zu stramm, genau richtig. 
Klinge ist scharf, rasieren geht. Wer es kann, poliert die Klinge rasiermesserscharf aus. Für den alltäglichen Gebrauch, ist die Schärfe absolut in Ordnung.
Wünschen würde ich mir spezielles Zubehör, (passende Torx Tools, Lederhülle zB.). Dafür würde ich auch mehr zahlen.
Mir gefällt das Messer. 
Zum Camping, Fischen, Pilze suchen, für die Essenszubereitung ist es für mich ein Allroundmesser. Dank der glatten Alu- Griffschalen gut zu reinigen.
Geiles Messer ... ich muss immerzu daran spielen und putzen, ist schon eine Sucht ,...  "Die Untermesserung" ... oder eher krank ... grübel ... ;-) 

Beau couteau très agréable, léger pour la taille, attention lame rasoir.

You may have seen or read hypes about extra_good_sharpening of ColdSteel knives ... not in this case. Maybe it is because ColdSteel was sold to a new owner ... I heard about it only after the purchase. Sharpened as any other knife. Handle is thin ... therefore you cant get a good hold for a hard use -- light use only. Hollow grind could be tricky when cutting deeper -- blade tends to stuck. Otherwize without issues. Well made knife, maybe with not the best design for overall usage, cant recommend as EDC. I also did expect some extra good heat treatment and sharpening, thats why I was a disappointed. Its ok knife.
