One of the coolest knives from our Eden range: the **Eden pankiri**. Pankiri is the Japanese term for **bread knife**. With this knife you can easily cut through all types of bread. Hard crust, soft crust or soft buns: a piece of cake for this amazing knife. But this knife can also be used to cut cakes or hard vegetables and fruit. Think, for instance, of cutting the hard skin of pumpkins or melons. But also peeling or cutting a celeriac is no problem at all. As a result this knife can handle a lot more than just bread. Perhaps it is even better if we simply call this a serrated knife.


## Eden pankiri blade


The blade is made from stainless steel. The blade is ergonomic and thin for ultimate comfort. As a result the cutting resistance is low. You will easily cut through most ingredients. The hardness of the blade is 53-54 Rockwell.


### Half tang


This knife is half tang. As the name might already suggest this is a middle ground between the full tang and the stick tang. The construction looks like a full tang knife. The tang however only runs towards the middle of the handle. You don't see this construction that often, making this knife extra special.


## Eden pankiri handle


The handle is made from walnut wood. A stunning type of brown wood with beautiful dark brown lines. It makes the knife look classy. The design of the handle is remarkably sleek. The scales are seamlessly attached to the handle with three rivets. 


## Not dishwasher proof


As with any top-quality kitchen knife, it is best not to place your Eden Pankiri knife in the dishwasher. It is best to wash and dry them by hand immediately after use. As such the unique appearance and quality of the knives is guaranteed.

Liegt gut in der Hand, super scharf und größtes Messer bis jetzt :-)


Wat een verschil, eindelijk een schitterend gemakkelijk snijdend broodmes, dun, scherp en ook nog lang genoeg voor grote ronde brode of taarten. Bovendien zéér mooi.
Ook de prijs valt goed mee.
Zijn uiterst tevreden dus!

Topmes: het dunne lemmet gaat als boter door brood, zelfs met harde korst. Lemmet is lang waardoor ook grote broden makkelijk te snijden zijn.

We are very pleased with this knife. It slices the bread as champ. It is a bit on a long side, but It does great job. The curved blade seems to bring one more notch to outstanding knife.

Die Qualität ist prima.  Da macht das Brotschneiden Spaß.
