A good quality reasonably priced and fairly heavyweight chef's knife capable of holding a very sharp edge. Solid handle, very similar to the Pro Cook X50 Professional set I've used for some years - very pleased with my purchase.

I really cannot fault this knife! I bought it as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and want one for myself now as I’m not allowed to use his! It is insanely sharp and beautiful to look at. Worth every penny!!

On the whole I am reasonably happy with the knife. It seems sharp out of the box and has a very nice weight-balance. The handle is comfortable too. Sadly the blade patina is merely a replica of a real Damascus steel knife pattern created in the forging process. I would say it appears to have been laser or acid etched. Its a shame the website doesn't mention this as it feels like the truth is being withheld, which leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Too soon to say how long this knife will hold an edge or how easily the blade may chip etc. I would give it 6 out of 10
