The **ESEE Model 4** is a solid survival knife with a blade of 1095 carbon steel. The extremely durable powder coating on the blade helps protect against the larger rust susceptibility known to carbon steel. The great performance of the steel guarantee a life long pleasure. The full tang blade features a micarta handle. This handgrip feels somewhat rough, which is good for grip and comfort. The ESEE 4 is large enough to give good space to your hands, without looking enormous.  
  


The handle is equipped with an elevation for your index finger. This knife has such a fantastic grip, that you don't understand why other knives need a full row of curves in the handle to feel that comfortable. Also the heel of the blade features such a curve. This curve serves as a resting place for your thumb, to give a solid grip. The ridges on the top are exactly at the right place for your thumb. This way the knife is very good to steer and can be used for, for example, food preparation.  
  


A sheath is not included in delivery. They are available as accessories in different designs. Also in this area you need to use the correct type for your application. Of course the different versions share the quality and multi functionality of all the products by ESEE Knives.

Très bon couteau pour bushcraft, jardinage, survie... je l'adore il ne me quitte plus au jardin. 

Ein Mega Messer. Es kam Rasiermesser scharf aus der Packung, und lässt sich auch wieder so scharf schleifen. Es ist sehr robust, beim in die Scheide stecken ist es mir mit der Spitze nach unten auf Stein gefallen, es hat keinen schaden genommen. Ich benutze es im Alltag beim Kochen, genau so beim Feuer machen unterwegs. Es hat genau die richtige Größe. Nur der Preis tut weh, dafür hat man aber auch lange was davon mit der Garantie, und der wirklich guten Qualität. Am liebsten würde ich alle 2 Tage nen neues Messer bestellen zum ausprobieren 🤣🤣
