The **Fällkniven R2 Scout** is a compact fixed knife, made for the outdoors. It could be seen as the little brother of the famous Fällkniven F1. But that's actually doing it a disservice. 

Sure, Fällkniven has reduced the length of the R2 Scout, but there has been no skimping on the blade thickness and sturdiness. In fact, Fällkniven has even reinforced the tip so it's even stronger. 

The Fällkniven R2 Scout is designed for people with smaller hands, such as women and children. But that doesn't mean the R2 is a 'ladies knife'. It is simply designed for anyone who likes to carry a more compact knife without compromising on quality.

The blade is made from Swedish Elmax steel. This steel is tough, easy to sharpen, and has extremely good sharpness retention. Naturally, this knife features Fällkniven’s famous convex grind. Can be used all-round, for woodworking and hunting as well as survival and food preparation.

The handle is on the short side, but can also be used by large hands. The total length of the handle is 10.2 cm. But because it's quite thick, you still have enough 'filling' in your hand to use it comfortably.

The Fällkniven R2 Scout comes with a strong Zytel sheath. You can easily rinse it under the tap or in a stream. To prevent the knife from rattling in the sheath, or even falling out, there is a lock that keeps the knife in place.

An underrated small knife,very precise,a workhorse by anymean.Cuttin'performance extraordinary.

Dat er bij het ontwerp van dit mes niet over één nacht ijs is gegaan merk je als je het in handen hebt, dit is een top gebruik mes , super solide en super scherp dankzij de aparte concave slijping,ook de holster met de extra vergrendeling werkt uitstekend en bevalt me heel goed, en mocht je het kopen voor enkel in de verzameling toe te voegen; dit mes is ook hiervoor meer dan geschikt, perfect afwerking over de hele lijn en een plezier om naar te kijken, grote klasse.
De maat is voor mij perfect maar zoals aangegeven, met grote handen schiet waarschijnlijk wat te kort.
Het eerste van fallkniven maar niet het laatste.En zoals gewoonlijk weer super snel en correct geleverd.

sa petite taille  permet de l'avoir en permanence sur soi , l’étui est très sécurisant le couteau y est bien tenu . la lame est épaisse est très  robuste , émouture  parfaite  pour un tranchant rasoir des la sortie  de l'emballage .

Très bel article. je recommande fortement. Le couteau est parfait. j'avais un peu peur de l'épaisseur de la lame mais on épluche des pommes sans problème 😁.  Seul bémol, le couteau bouge un peu trop dans l'étui lorsque celui-ci est ouvert.
