It all depends on what task you want it for! I'm retired carpenter from Ireland and I like good tools so needless to say I love this little axe, I only use it for chopping small kindling for my Kelly kettles it's to nice to use on rough stuff I have other axes for that, maybe when it's about fifty years old and has a few scratches like my self I'll start using it on the rough lumber, seriously I don't think anyone could go wrong with one of these.
