The **Fiskars X32 Splitting Axe L** has an axe head with a very wide wedge shape. The wider wedge shape splits wood even more efficiently and also makes it easier to remove the axe from the wood. The handle has a very strong construction with a long SoftGrip™ that absorbs the blows during use. This heavy splitting axe is suitable for splitting very large logs!

## The handle of the Fiskars X series axes

The fibreglass reinforced plastic FiberComp handle of a Fiskars axe is stronger and lighter than a handle that is made from wood. J'ai acheté cette hache pour fendre du bois. J'étais sceptique au début, mais après 1 heure de découpage, j'avais fendu 10 grosses tranches d'arbre de 40 à 50 cm. Ce qui est bien, c'est que vous n'avez pas besoin d'aller à la salle de sport pour rester en forme. J'aurais et aurais déjà recommandé cette hache à plusieurs personnes. Bref, fortement recommandé.

Absolute beast of an axe. The handle is so light  and has a lovely weight and feel during a swing.

Mostly splitting fresh cut softwood and it just sails through every log.

Je possédais le x27 avant et je craignais que ce x32 soit lourd mais ça me semble un compromis idéal entre la taille du manche et le poids.

La nouvelle tête change de l'ancienne génération et le manche a un meilleur grippe que ses prédécesseurs 

Voor mij eindelijk de ideale lengte tussen de oude X27 en X25 in. Ben gewend eigen bijlen samen te stellen uit oude bijlkop en houten steel. Kwam daarbij uit op voorkeur voor 32 inch / 80 cm voor kloven (en 28 inch / 70 cm voor algemeen bos- en snoeiwerk). Dat geeft voor mij de beste balans tussen accuratesse en kracht van impact. Na jaren wegblijven bij plastic stelen nu besloten toch maar eens goed te testen die beroemde Fiskars. Blijkt, niet geheel verrassend, absoluut een uitstekende allrounder voor kloven die ik naast mijn fijnste klassiekers met hickory stelen zal blijven gebruiken. Waarbij een iets lichtere kop voor gemakkelijk kloofbaar hout wat minder energie kost en een zwaardere kop nodig is voor het aller moeilijkste hout.
Detail: productnummers zijn eindelijk logisch, namelijk de totale lengte in inches, zoals gebruikelijk in een groot deel vd bijlenwereld. 
Oh, en de levering was super snel en de verpakking was uitstekend.
