This **Gear Keeper High-Force Key retractor** is here to help you keep your keys close. Not one or two, but roughly 15 to 21 keys. So, quite a lot. With this retractor your keys will no longer be stuffed away inside your pockets, but always close. The retractor has an automatic retracting 80 cm cord and a tractive force of 255 grams. Great for your keys, but also for other gear (up to 255 grams).


The Gear Keeper-retractor has a special flushing system. This patented system removes sand, salt water and debris during normal use. After using the retractor you can also clean it to extend the life span of the device.


## The High-Force Key retractor mounting options


The High-Force Key retractor has a metal clip enabling you to attach it to your belt or jeans. This belt clip has a 360° rotation angle. As such the device will follow you wherever you go. 


The base of the retractor is enhanced with a Quick Connect I (Q/C 1) mounting system, a click system with a masculine part (the plug that hold the key-ring), and a feminine part (where you insert the plug). As such you will be able to quickly connect and disconnect your gear.


You attach the retractor to your clothes, bag, or handle using one of the mounting systems. At the base of the retractor you will find a Quick Connect I mounting system with a key ring which you attach to your keys. When you want to use your tool you can pull out the cord. Because your gear is attached to your retractor you will never be able to drop or lose your belongings again. As soon as you are done using your tool, carefully let go of the device and the automatic retracting system will smoothly pull your gear back to the retractor. In short: *grab, use, let go, and you are done*. You will no longer have to store any of your devices! Useful, and safe!

I have used bigger versions of this to secure my pistol on operations in Afghanistan and found them to be excellent.  The smaller belt clip version that I am using for keys is more than up to the task and discrete.  When using for car keys the extendable cord allows me to have the key in the dashboard so that I do not have to detach my keys.  
I have recommend the easy to remove attachments that are available so the key retractor can be used with more than one set of keys/tools etc.
An excellent product - highly recommended.
