This Hultafors felling axe is practical when felling trees and for other chopping tasks in the garden or the woods. This axe comes without sheath.



## Axe head


The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. Basically everything you like to see in an axe head.

Goede bijl als je zelf de afwerking kan doen.

Voor het geld een prima bijl, maar naar mijn idee niet voldoende afgewerkt in de fabriek.

Ik heb zelf een bandschuur apparaat, vijlen en wat slijpstenen gebruikt om de bijl fatsoenlijk scherp te krijgen. De steel heb ik wat geschuurd en een aantal keer in de lijnolie gezet.

Als ik nog eens iets koop bestel ik een lederen beschermer voor de kop mee, die mis ik.

Leuk klein bijltje, zit tussen de handbijlen en zware bijlen in.
Lekker licht om mee te nemen en compact.
Snede was redelijk scherp maar niet mooi geslepen. Het staal lijkt me prima.
De steel was ook ruw, slecht afgewerkt, met wat plekjes.
Dat heb je met het goedkopere Hültafors. De prijs komt ergens vandaan.
Na wat slijpen, schuren, in-oliën en tender care, is de snede scherp genoeg en het hout lekker glad en mooi gekleurd.
Geeft geen lange, zware slag maar scherp en nauwkeurig genoeg om effectief te gebruiken.
Je slaat een paar keer meer maar wordt minder vermoeid.
Weinig verschil te zien met een zaagsnede!

bonjour le manche de la hache na pas était bien fini pour moi et pas verni et dommage qu'il n y a pas de protection sur la hache mais sinon elle et super et le prix aussi

Très content, rien à redire ! 

4 étoiles au lieu de 5 car j'aurais apprécié un petit étui en plus pour protéger lorsque que je me déplace avec.
