This knife now follows in my every step. It's hefty and big enough to lob limbs of trees and has enough control to carve a toothpick. My only problem was that it came with an asymmetrical grind on the cutting edge so it chipped after minor use. But this can be resolved by using a wet stone to re profile the edge after that it's near perfect for a big knife.

The bk9 is an excellent go to knife the Becker handle feels superb in the hand but is a little slippy due to the material but micarta scales are available but if on a budget Wilson tennis racquet tape is a good thing like it’s smaller sister the bk7 it an excellent all round knife.
