Probably the better all purpose knife I have. Very good chopper, both the blade and the handel are well designed. The blade has a good weight, the balance is just a little bit o the blade, but enough to function like a small hatchet or a small machete. Both steel and hrc are right for the intended use. The handle is good, not slippery in any direction. With an edge angle modification it can became good also for food and fine work, since the high saber grind makes it a good cutter ( for a 6mm thick blade) The sheath is what it is, but all in all is not bad. The price is very good. In conclusion I can only recommend it.

Bought as a gift, very happy with service. Returning buyer. Knife very weighty and well manufactured, comes with sheath. Haven't used it outdoors yet, but recipient delighted with it.

Again, this knife is part of my own collection. And was bought with this in mind. However, I'm sure that it could definitely be used to chop and slash if the need arose. The blade is reassuringly heavy and made of a good material that could easily be sharpened if required. The handle is extremely comfortable and the shape sits just right for me, anyhow. I also like the fact that it will take a lanyard for the wrist etc. To be fair though, I really don't see it slipping out of the hand due to the handles end shape that encompasses the fingers just right. For me, anyhow.
